MPC PVC tubing is a flexible, soft 68 durometer, transparent, general purpose formulation of the highest quality polyvinyl chloride and special plasticizers without fillers. The best tubing for many applications in the laboratory and in chemical and industrial plants. Our PVC is excellent for air, some salts, fatty acids, soap solutions and oxygen. It has good resistance to some dilute to medium concentrate acids, natural gas, plating solutions and water. It has poor resistance to acetone, alcohols, aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorine, essential oils, formaldehyde, freon, gasoline, kerosene, turpentine, ketones, and animal/mineral/vegetable oils. PVC has a working temperature range between 0 and 180° F.
