Polypropylene Tubing

Advantages:

· Excellent resistance to dilute or moderately strong acids and alcohols
· Good stiffness
· Good impact resistance

MPC's natural polypropylene tubing is a widely accepted and economic material with excellent resistance to dilute or moderately strong acids and apliphatic alcohols. Polypropylene also has good resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons and ketones. However, polypropylene has poor resistance to such chemicals as aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons and strong oxidizing agents. Polypropylene has a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and an operating temperature range between 32° and 212° F. Polypropylene does not absorb water like nylon and it also possesses good stiffness and good impact resistance.
